The Trade Compliance Manager will be based in Madris, Spain . In this position, you will report to the Sr. Manager, Trade Program.

What a typical day looks like:

• supporting regional (EU countries, Australia, Canada, Brazil &etc.) trade related activities, including but not limited to:
  • Develop, implement, and update trade compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable import and export laws and regulations.
  • Ensure proper information on the customs clearance documentation such as tariff classification, and valuation of goods, country of origin
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
  • Keep the team informed about changes in trade laws and regulations.
  • Work with government agencies Customs authorities on classification or other related compliance issues.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to facilitate compliance in all business processes.
  • Managing trade related programs such as anti-dumping and counter vailing duties, Customs, FTAs, EU carbon tax reporting

Here is some of what you'll need (required):

• Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations and policies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify and resolve complex problems in relation to trade compliance activities
• Proficiency in English and Spanish

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Working knowledge with EAR (Export Administration Regulation), such as: denied party screening process, and ECCN (Export Control Classification Number)
