Job Details
• Block/special scheduling cannot be accommodated unless approved at time of booking
• 13 weeks duration
• No weekends/no holidays
• Will not float outside of the pathology lab
• 2+ years relevant experience required
• Types of procedures: Frozen Sections and HIGH COMPLEXITY SPECIMENS: Mastectomy, APRs, Limb Amputation, Nephrectomy, Laryngectomy, Radical Prostatectomy, Cystoprostatectomy, Thyroidectomy, Colectomy, Hysterectomy, Gastrectomy, etc
• Experience handling: Cassette Labeler, Dragon Voice Recognition, Loading Tissue Processor, Windows 10, Cryostat, Examination of complex surgical specimens
• 30-50 specimens per day
• EPIC charting
• First time travelers are accepted
• Dress code: any color scrubs / smart casual

Job Requirements
• Must be a Graduate of an Accredited Pathologists' Assistant Program
• ASCP Certification preferred
• 2+ years relevant experience
