The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking full-time General Ophthalmologists for its practices in Manhattan!

The practice is located in Morningside Heights which is a neighborhood on the West Side of Upper Manhattan in New York City. Morningside Heights is located in Upper Manhattan, bounded by Morningside Park to the east, 125th Street to the north, 110th Street to the south, and Riverside Park to the west. The neighborhood is zoned primarily for high-rise apartment buildings, though ground-floor stores are also present on Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue. In practice, much of the neighborhood is composed of structures for the neighborhood's religious or academic institutions.

This practice will be located on West 53nd Street and 8th Ave. Hell's Kitchen is a neighborhood that is considered to be bordered by 34th Street (or 41st Street) to the south, 59th Street to the north, Eighth Avenue to the east, and the Hudson River to the west. Hell's Kitchen has become an increasingly upscale neighborhood of affluent young professionals as well as residents from the "old days." Ninth Avenue is noted for its many ethnic restaurants. There are more restaurants and food carts and trucks on Tenth Avenue between 43rd and 47th Streets. Hell's Kitchen's side streets are mostly lined with trees.A newer park in Hell's Kitchen is the Hudson Park and Boulevard, which is part of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project.

Position Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  • New York Medical License
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Ophthalmology
