Find your calling at Mercy! The Vice President of Patient Services – Perioperative Care serves as the senior executive leader accountable for the strategic, operational, financial, and clinical performance of all perioperative and procedural services across Mercy Hospital St. Louis.

This role provides enterprise-level leadership across operating rooms, procedural platforms, sterile processing, perioperative support services, and clinical partnerships, ensuring alignment with Mercy's mission, quality standards, and long-term growth strategy.

The VP functions as a strategic partner to physicians, nursing leadership, and executive administration. Driving operational excellence, throughput optimization, workforce sustainability, and capital modernization while advancing high‑reliability, patient‑centered care. Position Details:

This role offers the opportunity to lead that transformation at scale, influence enterprise strategy, and partner directly with executive leadership and physician stakeholders to shape the next chapter of perioperative excellence.

Key Experience:

Education: Master's degree
Experience: 3 years' experience in leadership at the Director level or above.

Preferred Experience: Perioperative Leadership

  • Progressive senior leadership experience in perioperative and procedural services within a complex hospital or health system environment

  • Demonstrated success leading high-volume OR platforms and multidisciplinary clinical operations

  • Experience with system-level operations, capital planning, and financial stewardship

  • Proven ability to partner with physicians, nursing leaders, and executive teams
