Position Description: Senior IT Business Partner

Location: Hybrid/Remote
Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

Serves as the primary liaison between MTS and the customer in order to capture agreed-upon business objectives and processes, communicating these processes and their implications to technical and non-technical contributors to ensure that technology accurately meets business users' goals.

All positions in this job family participate, to some degree, in the following activities:

  • Facilitate process to gather/establish high level business requirements.
  • Lead and facilitate business partners and service providers conversations regarding priorities, hardware/software selection, vendor selection.
  • Develop and manage Project Pipeline Portfolio and 5-year Capital IT Project Portfolio Assist with development of annual and 5-year capital IT budgets.
  • Prepare Project Concept Proposals, Business Cases, and related Project Initiation documents.
  • Project initiation, high level requirements Identify and document business strategies, objectives and drivers.
  • Calculate/estimate costs/benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their ROI Interfaces independently with all functional and business areas affected by the project or support work for MTS's customers.
  • Works closely with functional resource managers to ensure adequate support of hardware design, equipment (hardware/software) requisition, logistics and installation for moves, new construction and acquisition.

Qualification(s):

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience: Five (5) years of relevant technical or business work experience.
