Position: Sr. Financial Analyst - Remote 

Location: Must live in the St. Louis or Springfield MO area. 

Shift:  FT Days - 40/hrs per week

Overview:

This position reports to the Manager of Finance and is responsible for preparing, analyzing and presenting financial information to support operational and strategic decision making. This position provides financial support to the organization including assistance with monthly close process, participation in annual budget process, completion of annual audit schedules and various financial analyses.

 

Maintains entity financial accounts including reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts. Guides and supports entity leadership in the use and interpretation of financial reports and results analysis. Assists in the requirements of the annual financial statement audit. Supports preparation of annual budget. Completes special projects as directed by Manager

 


Qualifications:

Education: BS Degree in Finance or Accounting (or similar) or equivalent experience.

 

Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years.

 

Other Skills: Demonstrated knowledge with financial applications and processes.

 

Demonstrated ability to interact with leadership teams.

 

Demonstrated knowledge of financial systems.

 

Knowledgeable of underlying process flows; Demonstrates developed analytical skills including identification of issues/opportunities and potential resolution.

 

Works independently; Demonstrates appropriate prioritization, efficiency, and problem solving.

 

Strong Microsoft Office skills and position specific applications

 

Preferred Education: Masters Degree Preferred Licensure: CPA Preferred
