The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to deliver high‑quality patient care and maintains professional accountability for all care provided to assigned patients. This role evaluates the effectiveness of care delivered by other direct caregivers, coordinates patient care activities with interdisciplinary departments, and upholds all patient rights and confidentiality standards. Qualifications:
Education
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (associate degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure
Responsible for obtaining and maintaining an active RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements.
Experience

Certifications:
Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association, or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
May be required based on unit or required within a department‑defined timeframe:
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program
ENPC – Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course
TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course
CPHON – Certified Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse
OCN – Oncology Certified Nurse
PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support
PEARS – Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization
S.T.A.B.L.E. – Six Assessment & Care Modules
C‑EFM – Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification
Other unit‑specific certifications as required
Physical Requirements
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Prolonged standing and walking for the majority of each shift.
Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat in order to perform patient care duties.
