Position:  Project Coordinator (Grant Funded Position)

Location:  Mississippi Health Advocacy Program 

Shift:  FT days - 40/hrs per week

Overview:

 

The Project Coordinator plays an integral role supporting the development, coordination and implementation of strategic initiatives promoting growth, efficiencies in operations, brand recognition, and strategic planning. Position requires organizational, project management, interpersonal, and computer data knowledge and presentation skills. The Project Coordinator collaborates closely with leaders and caregivers on the implementation of strategic initiatives.


Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Experience: 2 years in project coordination, public health and/or public policies. 

 

Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in politicial science or public health services. 

 

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:

•    Proficient in managing spreadsheets and databases.

•    Capable of managing multiple projects and adhering to tight deadlines.

•    Demonstrates the ability to partner and collaborate effectively with diverse individuals across the organization.

•    Maintains a disciplined and professional demeanor at all times.

•    Outstanding communication capabilities, marked by a high level of professionalism and presence.

•    Skilled in operations and project management.

•    Exhibits strong organizational, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities.

•    Ability travel, as travel to locations across the Ministry may be required.
