??? What You'll Do

Under the direction of an RN or LPN, you will:

  • Assist with individualized patient care to help each child achieve their highest level of wellness
  • Perform designated clinical procedures and essential non-clinical support tasks
  • Collaborate as part of a strong, compassionate care team
  • Contribute to a positive, safe, and supportive environment for patients and families
??? Education & Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, CNA/CPTC, or enrollment in a high school–based healthcare career program
  • Nursing students are highly encouraged to apply
  • Current Mercy co-workers are also eligible
Experience

No experience required!

  • If you're new to healthcare, Mercy provides a 175-hour state-approved training program as part of your orientation (must be completed within 90 days of hire).
Certifications
  • BLS required within one month of hire
  • Completion of PCA competencies within 3 months

This role requires:

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly
  • Prolonged standing and walking
  • Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to meet patient needs
