As a Patient Care Associate (PCA), you'll work alongside nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver personalized care that helps patients achieve their highest level of wellness. Your care, attention, and teamwork will make a meaningful difference every shift. Position Details: ??? What You'll Do
- Assist patients with daily hygiene and personal care needs
- Support routine activities, including ambulation, feeding assistance, intake documentation, repositioning, and skin integrity monitoring
- Record vital signs and other patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient transfers
- Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection as assigned
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the healthcare team
- Help ensure patient comfort, safety, and a positive experience
- Provide clerical support, including answering phones and monitoring call lights
- Utilize unit-specific technology to support patient care and communication
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and fellow team members to deliver outstanding pediatric care
