Provides direct patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse consistent with the established guidelines of practice, the Goals of St. John's Health System, the Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics and the Employee Code of Conduct. Performs clerical duties, acts as a receptionist for the Nursing Unit. Enters, updates, and retrieves information from the hospital computer system(s). Performs related duties as assigned.
- Education: High school diploma, basic computer skills.
- Certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probationary period.
- • Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
