Find your calling at Mercy! The Clinical Coordinator for Robotic Surgery is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients and their families in an OR setting during various health stages. This includes maintaining professional accountability, evaluating the effectiveness of care, coordinating patient care with other departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality. Clinical Coordinator will have oversight of robotic surgery service line to include:
Maintenance of robotic instrumentation par levels
Identification of capital equipment and instrumentation needs
Development of growth plan for robotic service line expansion
Act as a liaison for robotic surgery providers
Coordination of robotic education in conjunction with department educator
Act as a liaison between Intuitive representatives and leadership
This coordinator role also performs charge nurse duties when needed to include:
Facilitation of OR daily board/case scheduling
Managing daily staffing resources
Effective communication with providers, staff, and vendors
Education: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
Licensure: Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
Experience: 1 year of direct patient care
Certifications: Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period. Perioperative certification (i.e. CNOR, CAPA) preferred.
Preferred Education: Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration or related field.
Preferred Experience: 3 years in perioperative services and previous management experience
