The Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) helps to fulfill care requirements of our patients for all age groups. The LPN functions under the supervision of the Licensed Nursing Staff or Physician and participates in the multi-disciplinary process of providing care and treatment to patients. Provides clinical support and technical assistance to professional medical and other staff. The LPN will work within their entire scope of practice. The LPN will be fully accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all patients. In addition, the LPN must be able to manage demanding workload with accuracy. Position requires excellent customer service skills with patients, and their families, other staff physicians, vendors and the public. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

LPN MIN REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.

Licensure: Current Oklahoma licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
Experience: New Graduate LPN's are eligible for this position.

Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Other: Demonstrated excellent clinical competence, interpersonal team-building, collaboration, negotiation, problem-solving, as well as spoken and written communication skills. Must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law.
Preferred Education:
Preferred Licensure:
Preferred Experience: at least (1) year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Preferred Certifications: ACLS, PALS and NRP certification must be obtained prior to working in areas that require applicable certification. All certifications must be maintained in a current status.

Preferred Other:

LPN II MIN REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications
