Description
General Summary of Position
Performs a variety of administrative and secretarial duties to facilitate the management of the operational and personnel activities for the department. Specific duties and responsibilities will vary based on departmental needs. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Associate's degree Business Management or Health related concentration required or
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
- 3-4 years At least three years of administrative experience required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent writing and editing skills. Sound judgement and ability to think, act and make decisions independently. Strong public relations, finance, operational, and organizational skills necessary. Excellent knowledge of word processing, computer graphics, and spreadsheet software(s).
This position has a hiring range of $23.19 - $40.61
