MedStar Cardiology Associates is seeking a non-invasive cardiologist to join their existing team of experienced cardiologists at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center, 18101 Prince Philip Dr., Olney, MD 20832.  This position is in Montgomery County, which provides a perfect combination of urban and suburban communities and is in close proximity to Washington, D.C. MedStar Cardiology Associates is a large, multi-disciplinary practice that includes interventional cardiology, EP, advanced heart failure, and an established vascular program. We also have a team of professional advanced practice providers.  MedStar Montgomery Medical Center is a community-centered hospital that remains true to its roots by offering sophisticated, high-quality medicine in an atmosphere of personal, individualized care.
In this role you will provide clinical cardiology services, associated with one hospital as the practice seeks to expand physician coverage.  Practice includes a good amount of echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and activities include performing and interpreting TEEs. Call frequency is low, e.g., 1:10 weekends.  This is an optimal position for a new graduate or experienced cardiologist who'd be part of a collaborative and cohesive team.  Position includes mentorship and collegial support, plus a great patient base to grow their practice.  Candidates interested in outreach engagement and community activities is a plus. 

Position Requirements:
Board-eligible/board-certified in Cardiology
Board certification in Echo and/or Nuclear
Expertise and interest in subspecialty areas, such as advanced echocardiography (including TEE)
