General Summary of Position
Professional care provider who assesses plans implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients from admission through discharge in a variety of patient care areas. In collaboration with the patient and family provides theory-based professional nursing care and coordinates care delivery with various members of the interdisciplinary team. Must work at least six weekend or night shifts; also must work three designated official holidays and two hard to fill shifts (e.g. Mother's Day Father's Day Easter Sunday Halloween Super Bowl Night Shift Black Friday (Friday after Thanksgiving) and Fourth of July (Night Shift).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Education
- Associate's degree from an accredited School of Nursing required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Bachelor's degree enrollment within 12 months of start date and completion within 4 years of start date required
- 1-2 years years of RN experience required
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the state or jurisdiction of the facility seeking employment or Multistate Compact state or license eligible required
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required
- Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.
- Basic math skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to precept.
- Competent in principles of nursing practice in each unit worked.
This position has a hiring range of
USD $39.42 - USD $65.17 /Hr.
