About the Job

MedStar Medical Group is seeking an experienced Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center.

 

Practice across both inpatient and outpatient pulmonary medicine, with all clinical responsibilities conveniently located on the MedStar Montgomery Medical Center campus.

 

Enjoy a four-day work week with no weekends, nights, or major holidays while practicing across both inpatient and outpatient pulmonary medicine. Position Summary

Practice across both inpatient and outpatient settings caring for patients with COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary nodules, lung cancer, pleural disease, and other acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

 

Highlights include:

  • Evaluate and manage inpatient pulmonary consultations and outpatient pulmonary care
  • Develop procedural expertise in bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), point of care ultrasound, thoracentesis, and chest tube placement and removal
  • Participate in our Lung Cancer Screening, Pulmonary Nodule, and Smoking Cessation programs
  • Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, patient centered care
  • Educate patients and families while maintaining timely clinical documentation
Schedule
  • Four-day work week
  • Monday through Friday
  • No weekends, nights, or major holidays
Qualifications
  • Board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Current Maryland license or eligibility
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • 1+ years as an Advanced Practice Provider preferred

USD $115,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.
