The Provider Relations Representative serves as a key liaison between MedStar Family Choice and network physicians, supporting provider satisfaction, recruitment, education, and issue resolution. This role ensures compliance with MedStar Health, NCQA, and regulatory standards while fostering strong, collaborative relationships with providers and office staff.

• Maintain ongoing relationships with network physicians and office staff, providing responsive support and resolving provider and member concerns.

• Assist with provider recruitment, contracting, onboarding, education, and ongoing communication initiatives.

• Support credentialing and compliance efforts, including onsite office surveys and corrective action planning in accordance with MedStar Family Choice and NCQA guidelines.

• Assist with claims inquiries and resolution in collaboration with providers, facilities, and internal teams.

• Coordinate provider communications, training sessions, satisfaction surveys, and newsletters.

• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and community outreach initiatives.

• High School Diploma or GED required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)

• 3–4 years of experience in managed care customer or provider services

• Provider relations and/or claims experience preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills

• Proficiency with standard office software applications
