About the Job

General Summary of Position
Responsible for the overall supervision coordination planning evaluation and monitoring of the practices in multiple sites. Assumes overall responsibility for clinical operations clinical practice protocols and pathways clinical triage patient education content/process performance and quality improvements for the practices assigned.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Assumes overall responsibility for clinical operations clinical practice protocols and pathways clinical triage patient education content/process performance and quality outcomes etc. for all community practices.
  • Serves as the primary contact and representative to hospital Nursing and clinical departments (e.g. Lab Pharmacy Nursing Leadership) to assure consistent safe quality evidence based clinical patient care in all Community practices.
  • Develops and monitors annual department goals and objectives policies and procedures in area of content expertise; ensures compliance with hospital policies procedures and governmental and other accreditations and regulations.
  • May develop and recommend department operating budget and ensures that department operates within budget.
  • Participates in organizational multidisciplinary quality service and operations improvement teams/committees. Represents the community practices and/or the hospital in targeted community outreach/education efforts.
  • May provide interim and/or on-call support to the SLA on behalf of the community practices.
  • Sets tracks and reports goals targets and outcome/performance measures to monitor/evaluate the work in area of content expertise. Researches analyzes and uses data to inform decision-making and strategic planning for community practices and Service Line.
  • Works as a manager for day-to-day assurance of patient centered care at assigned Primary Site. Coordinates with the management team to assure development and adherence to consistent standards clinical and operational protocols and policies and procedures across all Community practices.
  • Works as partner and team member with the managers to develop and strengthen communications team building positive work environment. Serves as role model of Service Excellence to patients staff and physicians

Minimal Qualifications
Education

  • Valid RN license in the State of Maryland required and
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

Experience

  • 1-2 years 2 years clinical management experience with focus on multiple areas of specialty assigned physician practice management required and
  • Experience with supervision of a multiple skill mix and experience managing clinical operations of multiple sites preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Valid RN license in the State of Maryland. required and
  • DL - Valid State Driver's License in good standing Valid driver's license in the State of Maryland. required

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of computer and word processing software applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to relate and communicate with physicians.

This position has a hiring range of

USD $102,606.00 - USD $196,996.00 /Yr.
