MedStar St. Mary's Hospital is currently recruiting Intensivists to provide day and night ICU coverage at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital
The provider will be responsible for provision of direct patient care for medical patients in the Critical Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit (“ICU”), and the Coronary Care Unit (“CCU”) and will respond to calls from the Emergency Department (“ED”), Subacute Care Center (“Subacute”), Telemetry Unit (“TU”), Chest Pain Evaluation Center, and other areas in the hospital complex as requested for consultation. Additionally, the Physician is in charge of immediate response to Code Blues, documentation in accordance with rules and regulations of MedStar St. Mary's Hospital, performance of invasive procedures, consultation with attending and consulting physicians, nurses, and staff, adherence to policies and procedures, and collaboration with hospital staff.
Provider must be board certified or board eligible in Critical Care Medicine. This position requires MD degree or foreign equivalent plus completion of a three-year ABIM-recognized Internal Medicine residency program; two-year ABIM-recognized Critical Care fellowship program; valid Maryland Medical License; Board Certification, American Board of Internal Medicine, Internal Medicine; and Board Certification or Eligibility, American Board of Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine. Provider is responsible for keeping abreast current medical knowledge in Critical Care Medicine and participating in continuing education programs.

USD $330,000.00 - USD $450,000.00 /Yr.
