Are you a dynamic and detail-oriented professional with a passion for connecting talent with opportunity? We're seeking a Temporary Recruiter to join our team and help us find the best candidates for our growing company. This position will be hybrid Brooklyn, Ohio office.
In this role you will facilitate the talent acquisition process through all phases of candidate sourcing, screening, and selection in support of business goals and in accordance with both internal policies and procedures, external laws and regulations. Fills exempt positions located at corporate headquarters and regional offices.
Responsibilities
- Identifies, qualifies, attracts, and recruits candidates to meet organizational hiring needs.
- Consults with hiring managers on staffing needs; recruitment processes; assists in defining position requirements and candidate qualifications; identifies appropriate hiring sources; facilitates and manages the candidate interview and selection process to ensure fair and defensible selection decisions
- Develops and implements recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates through multi-media advertising, social media, job fairs, college fairs, networking, temp-to-hire, business and employee referrals, or third-party assistance.
- Presents employment offers, manages, and closes candidate negotiations, complete post-acceptance follow-up
- Analyzes data to identify trends and makes recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency of talent acquisition strategies.
- May manage the staffing process for a small portfolio of nonexempt positions.
- Represents the organization in professional and civic organizations related to talent acquisition and staffing.
- Participates in Human Resources or corporate projects where staffing expertise/perspective is important.
- Trains, onboards and assists more junior team members.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- 5 years progressive experience as a Corporate Recruiter or equivalent recruiting or staffing experience with proven track record of ability to fill positions at various professional levels across multiple functional areas.
Professional Certification(s):
- Professional Human Resources (PHR), or other recognized human resources certification strongly preferred.
- Certified Diversity Recruiter (CDR) certification strongly preferred.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Comprehensive knowledge of labor markets and ability to identify and mine candidate sources.
- Comprehensive knowledge of general human resources regulations and practices including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action (AA) programs.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and windows-based applicant tracking and human resources systems.
