Account Manager- Individual Market
Responsible for brokers sales results and growth of individual, senior and specialty sales within their designated territory. Focuses on development with key agencies that have larger books of business and strong growth and marketing plans in order to fully maximize our opportunities.
Sr. Account Manager- Individual Market
Responsible for brokers sales results and growth of individual, senior and specialty sales within his/her designated territory. Focuses on development with key agencies that have larger books of business and strong growth and marketing plans in order to fully maximize our opportunities. Assists the Sales Director with training program development, marketing materials and reporting expectations for the entire team. Acts as a go to for questions from the team and business partners in the organization.
Position offers competitive compensation including base salary plus benefits plus sales incentive plan.
Responsibilities
Account Manager- Individual Market
- Works with Brokers/Agencies, and key internal partners to identify and analyze trends, hot issues and problems. Recommends solutions and comes to a resolution which satisfies MMO and the Broker Agencies, as well as large association clients within individual segment.
- Provides ongoing education of MMO updates, products and industry trends to the Brokers/Agencies within their region which helps improve efficiencies and sales production with MMO.
- Builds relationships with the Broker Agencies to promote the growth and sale of profitable business for MMO.
- Develops strategic plans and analysis to further develop market growth in assigned region. Anticipates potential market changes due to legislative development.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Sr. Account Manager- Individual Market
- Manages broker relationship for key brokers with a large book of individual and Medicare business as well as significant growth opportunities
- Works with Sales Director to develop and manage broker marketing CFR
- Work with marketing team and Broker Sales Team to evaluate and develop marketing materials and initiatives that will maximize our brand and generate leads for brokers
- Lead broker team and external broker training efforts in terms of content, strategy and effectiveness
- Develop and manage FMO strategy with Sales Director
- Lead broker communications strategy and content development with Sales Director and Communications team
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree or a combination of education and experience.
- 2 years sales and territory management experience.
- Experience with Individual and Medicare health insurance products preferred.
Professional Certification(s):
- Ohio Health and Life License, FFM and AHIP Certifications
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of the individual and senior markets including ACA, short-term, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage and individual specialty products.
- Ability to take complex ideas/solutions and build them into a cohesive sales story.
- Demonstrated presentation skills and effectiveness with presenting in front of senior leadership and large groups of external brokers and/or potential members.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Sr. Account Manager- Individual Market
Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in business administration, sales or similar field or a combination of education and experience.
- Five (5) years of sales and territory management experience preferrable with broker-related Individual/Senior Products.
- Demonstrated track record of success and leadership.
Professional Certification(s):
- Ohio Health and Life License, FFM and AHIP Certifications
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Mastery of Microsoft Office products including MS PPT, Word, and Excel
- Demonstrated presentation skills and effectiveness with presenting in from of senior leadership and large groups of external brokers and or members/potential members
- Proven ability to take complex ideas/solutions and build them into a cohesive sales story
- Well versed on Medical Mutual products, differentiators, and technology capabilities as well as having strong knowledge of the individual and senior markets including ACA, short-term, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage and individual specialty products.
