Vice President, Global Strategy and Operations Overview:
Our North America sales organization is seeking to build a diverse strategic and consultative workforce of world-class relationship managers, problem-solvers and technologists. The global Citi Account Management Team (CAT) is responsible for being bold and innovative partners to our largest global issuer and banking partner. This team is curious, creative and forward looking in order to deliver relevant solutions for Citi as the client, and Mastercard as Citi's client. The primary role of this team is to deepen the partnership we have with Citi operating as one team across geographies and functions leveraging the best assets across our collective businesses.

Role:
• Develop and deliver strategies and account management plans across Citi's distinct business lines to drive profit, revenue growth, deepen customer relationships, and create value for both Mastercard and the customer across full suite of Mastercard's products and solutions
• Provide consultative industry and Mastercard insights through competitor analysis and industry expertise
• Proactively identify and prioritize initiatives that drive Citi and Mastercard revenues
• Support the EVP and CAT in negotiations with Citi, including developing negotiation strategies, war-gaming exercises, and developing tools and talk-tracks to drive effective outcomes for Mastercard with Citi
• Develop weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to ensure we have disciplined program management on joint deliverables
• Collaborate with business partners across Mastercard (e.g., Product, Services, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Franchise, Operations/TAM) to deliver maximum support and uncover best practices that benefit Citi's business, and/or Mastercard as one of Citi's top Fortune 100 clients
• Ensure the execution and compliance of all Regional-level Customer Business Agreements, across the consumer business, and the trade and treasury services businesses with Citi
• Own and drive select strategic programs across CAT in close partnership with the EVP and other leaders. Examples include investment prioritization and governance between Citi and Mastercard; driving for digital excellence; leading conversations with the global Citi executive teams; leading co-creation efforts to identify new/emerging business models for Citi and Mastercard, etc.
• Drive key CAT initiatives and messaging (with EVP support) with internal organizations (e.g., management committee, audit committee, board of directors) and external conferences, associations and organizations
• Provide strategic thought leadership to CAT as we continually look for ways to grow the business

• Results driven leader who takes a fact based, disciplined approach to achieve results
• Ability to take many, complicated inputs and distill into simple, impactful solutions
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple groups and all levels of management both internally and externally
• Experience establishing oneself as an advisor to collaborate with stakeholders at the global/regional and local level
• Motivated self-starter, ability to work independently, able to identify and direct activities to achieve objectives
• Experience working in multiple geographic regions preferred
• Progressive experience in a top-5 Management Consulting firm preferred, with demonstrable experience in financial reporting and analytics a plus. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.

Purchase, New York: $221,000 - $353,000 USD New York City, New York: $230,000 - $368,000 USD
