Overview
The Mexico Network Products team is looking for a Specialist, Switch Business Support to lead and define the Operational Health metrics and controls to improve our operational processes and SLAs to identify issues and communicate.

About the role
The Data Mining & Analytics Specialist is responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting large volumes of data to generate actionable insights, and for communicating results clearly and effectively through executive‑level presentations that support data‑driven decision‑making.

Data Mining & Analysis
1. Collect, clean, and structure data from multiple sources (databases, internal reports, external tools).
2. Identify patterns, trends, and correlations using data mining and exploratory data analysis techniques.
3. Design and execute quantitative and statistical analyses to answer business questions.
4. Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all analyses.
Document assumptions, methodologies, and limitations for each analysis.

Visualization & Presentation of Results
1. Translate complex analytical results into clear, relevant, and actionable insights.
2. Develop executive‑level presentations (PowerPoint) with strong business‑focused storytelling.
3. Create effective visualizations (charts, dashboards, tables) to facilitate understanding of findings.
4. Adapt the level of detail based on the audience (executives, technical teams, commercial stakeholders).
5. Present findings and recommendations clearly in internal and stakeholder meetings.

All about you-Technical Requirements
Degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
Hands‑on experience in data mining and data analysis.

Proficiency in analytical tools such as:
1. SQL
2. Advanced Excel

Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Strong PowerPoint skills for executive presentations.
Solid knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics.
