The Financial Crime Team is responsible for innovation, development and management of our products and services to address evolving risk and security needs for all of Mastercard's customers across the world. You will strive for excellence in the following:
• Work with our internal stakeholder teams to identify new partners, and build relationships to drive product distribution internally and externally .
• Conduct analysis of transaction level data to develop new ways of detecting fraud
• Become a leader in internal operations that help drive the business from legal right through to commercial
• Work with the team on product evolution, go-to-market strategy, and lifecycle management.
• Drives product development with a focus on customer experience.
• Monitors product performance, adoption, and operational health.
• Reviews competitor offerings and identifies lifecycle improvement opportunities.
• Owns product documentation and supports post-launch reviews

All About You
• Graduating senior pursuing Bachelor's/Accelerated Master's Degree
• Passion for Fraud and Anti Money Laundering and profound interest in learning new tools, threat vectors, attack techniques, technologies, and best practices in preventing of Financial Crime
• Familiarity with Fraud and AML landscape and major threats and trends that have garnered industry attention
• Strong interest in current affairs and news media
• Understanding of contracting and legal documents
• Strong oral and written communication skills (presentations, publishing papers, blogs)
• Self-starter with passion for solving problems
• High energy level; flexible, adaptive and strong collaborator
• Well planned, organized & structured to manage time & work effectively

Role Summary
The Product Specialist supports the development, launch, and lifecycle management of products within the Financial Crime and AML domain. This role bridges business needs with technical execution, ensuring products meet customer expectations and compliance standards. ________________________________________

Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related role.
• Familiarity with financial crime, AML, or fraud detection technologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Monday.com.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Product Execution
• Assist in translating product strategy into actionable development plans.
• Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and feature delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and data science teams to ensure timely execution.
• Market & Customer Insight
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform product decisions.
• Gather customer feedback and translate insights into product enhancements.
• Documentation & Communication
• Maintain product documentation, including feature specs, release notes, and user guides.
• Prepare internal presentations and contribute to go-to-market materials.
• Cross-Functional Coordination
• Liaise with compliance, legal, and risk teams to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Coordinate with sales and customer success teams to support product adoption.
• Performance Monitoring
• Track product KPIs and usage metrics.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and report findings to leadership.
