Overview
The Mastercard Merchant Acceptance Program is looking for a Software Engineer II
to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is responsible for the analysis, code and delivery of software solutions.
Merchant Acceptance Program consists of products & solutions that aim to increase Mastercard's acceptance footprint and improving quality of card holder experience at the point of interaction.
Role:
Write and test high-quality, secure code that is both modular and functional
Contribute to all parts of the software's development including design,
development, documentation, and testing
Have strong ownership of your team's software including deep in maintenance
characteristics, runtime properties, dependencies, and build
Communicate, collaborate and work effectively in a global environment.
All About You:
2-4 years of development experience as a back end or full stack developer
Working competency with Java programming language and UI technologies - Java [J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA] and/or Web [Angular, React, Javascript, jQuery, CSS, HTML]
Solid foundation of databases and SQL queries
Good to have monitoring tools experience
Strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, and core computer science
concepts
Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills
