Title and Summary
Software Engineer - II Overview• Marketing Technology Solutions (MarTS) group is building cutting edge technology solutions for Global marketing, building new sites, apps and MarTech foundation for omni channel marketing. Mastercard is looking for strong technical professional to be part of this exciting journey.
• This position is responsible for providing senior application development and design support within MarTS group. Specifically, this person will provide exceptional application development to all marketing projects.
• This is a career opportunity to be a Software Engineer || for providing global marketing solutions for one of the most well-known brands in the world. Passion, rigour, and drive are required.
• Provide high quality deliverables within the constraints of budget, scope and time.
• Design & develop high quality, secure software solutions as per technical requirements and design artifacts.
Role
• Develop User interfaces for Modern Rich Internet and Mobile Applications with Front End Technologies like Typescript, Angular and Mobile technologies like Kotlin .
• Perform product analysis and development tasks of increasingly complex nature which may require extensive research and analysis.
• Ensure high performance applications which are secure and scalable
• Strong expertise with Accessibility, commonly used iOS frameworks, HTML, CSS, JS and writing cross-browser compatible code.
• Good understanding of AJAX and JavaScript Dom manipulation techniques.
• Familiar with testing frameworks (Ex. Jest, Jasmine)
• Test runner framework (Ex. Karma)
• Document application components for support and training materials for MasterCard Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
Need to have strong knowledge in one or more of the technology skills above and exposure to the other skills enough to learn on the job and scale to pick up responsibility of a full stack developer.
All About You
• You have expertise on JS and Typescript and on one of prominent frontend framework Angular.
• You have experience working on CSS and latest design trends.
• Proficient with Android native development.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• You have experience delivering major pieces of functionality on time and on-budget
• You have experience solving scale, resilience, security, and robustness problems
• You understands functional and non-functional testing types to elaborate and estimate test efforts.
• You have experience with different SDLC practices (Waterfall/Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) and the delivery situations they are used for
• You have proficiency in using basic engineering principles for building and running mission critical software capabilities (security, customer experience, testing, operability, simplification, service-oriented architecture)
• Familiar with different application patterns to implement different types of business processes (e.g., APIs, event-driven-services, batch-services, web-applications, big data).
• You have good communication skills – both verbal and written – with strong relationship building, collaborative skills and organizational skills.
