Title and Summary

Senior Specialist, Talent Sourcing Overview:
As a senior member of Mastercard's Talent Discovery Team, you will play a pivotal role in building and engaging with pipelines of diverse talent to meet the hiring needs of Mastercard, while supporting multichannel talent outreach efforts. This role requires not only strong sourcing expertise but also the ability to influence, advise, and partner with business leaders on talent strategies.

We're looking for a strategic Talent Sourcer who is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates advanced digital and social media fluency.

Role:
• Explore advanced AI and manual search techniques (i.e., Boolean search) to identify diverse talent that maps well to Mastercard's current and future job openings
• Organize prospects into well-curated, relevant talent pipelines
• Screen and vet potential applicants and provide a best-in-class candidate experience
• Partner closely with Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Marketing team members to plan and execute ‘top of funnel' outreach efforts that communicate Mastercard's value proposition and promote current job openings
• Support talent nurture campaigns and events
• Augment Mastercard's employer branding efforts through thoughtful social media engagement
• Act as a trusted business partner and advisor to senior hiring managers and stakeholders, providing market insights, competitive intelligence, and strategic sourcing recommendations
• Influence talent decisions through data-driven insights and advisory conversations
• Mentor and coach junior sourcers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning
• Drive innovation in sourcing strategies, leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Shape talent acquisition strategy by providing thought leadership on market trends, diversity sourcing, and competitive intelligence
• Represent Talent Discovery in cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with Mastercard's broader talent and business objectives

All About You:
Requirements
• Prior professional experience in talent acquisition, in-house talent sourcing, or agency recruiting
• Knowledge of modern talent sourcing/recruitment marketing platforms, including ATS. Prior knowledge of Workday a plus.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered sourcing tools and technologies (e.g., AI-driven candidate matching, automated outreach, or generative AI for talent engagement)
• A background in sourcing and/or recruiting technology talent is preferred, but not required
• Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills
• Detail-oriented and highly motivated
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced sourcing environment
• Experience working with social media platforms
• Outstanding communication skills and a positive ‘can-do' attitude
• Experience collaborating with and managing the priorities of multiple stakeholders across teams
