Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

Role:

The Security Solutions team is responsible for product management and innovative product development of products and services to address the evolving risk & cyber security needs of all of Mastercard's various customer segments. The Security Solutions team was established with the responsibility to safeguard all aspects of safety and security in payments and have made great strides with new products, services and standards, positively impacting all aspects of our current and future payment eco-system.

As Senior Specialist for the Identity Verification Platform you will contribute to the ongoing evolution of the product roadmap, work with engineering and program management to prioritize development work based on recognized business needs, understand and identify impacts of product changes on the customer experience, make data driven decisions and identify product optimization opportunities within the Identity Solutions organization.

In this role you will:

• Contribute, plan, define and deliver on the Identity Verification Platform and API roadmap and its features/functions.

• Develop an expert knowledge of how the platform functions, what the inputs, outputs are, as well as what are various platform features and components that make up the platform.

• Support day to day product activities including sprint refinement and planning, requirements definition and documentation, and product development risk identification and mitigation and release approval/testing.

• Analyze market trends, dynamics, and competition to inform product planning and support go-to-market strategies.

• Leverage the Mastercard Studio framework to manage the delivery of ongoing innovation and enhancements to focus products.

• Partner with internal and external business lines and support teams to understand their needs to assess and translate them into product driven platform and/or API driven features.

• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure our products function as described and are enhanced with scale in mind.

• Collaborate closely with technical counterparts to ensure product and project success.

• Identify any barriers or obstacles to deliver capabilities within identified and agreed upon time and budget.

All About You:

• Ability to communicate effectively with other Product Managers, development and business teams

• Strong written and verbal communication; can effectively articulate product decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong technical analysis and documentation skills (Functional, Technical, Interface Specifications, User Stories)

• Experience working with APIs, databases, and data-centric applications
Demonstrated track record achieving business objectives and building relationships within a large global matrixed organization

• Ability to analyze complex issues and provide direction towards resolution

• Experience developing financial, risk, ERP, CRM or compliance related products is an asset

• Past experience in a product management or product ownership role

Pay Ranges

Vancouver, Canada: $89,000 - $142,000 CAD
