Title and Summary
Senior Content Strategy Analyst OverviewThe Mastercard Wallet Service is part of Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES) — is a suite of products that enables issuers, digital wallets, merchants, and partners to rapidly deliver secure contactless and in app payment experiences on both Android and iOS. MWS supports a broad range of payment instruments, including cards, bank accounts, and prepaid instruments, and is designed to operate at global scale by leveraging Mastercard's acceptance network to ensure interoperability and reach across markets. Customers remain at the center of the payment experience—owning the user interface, brand, and customer relationship—while Mastercard provides the underlying payment infrastructure and security.
We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer with a strong understanding of digital payments and wallet ecosystems to help take our client facing services to the next level. The ideal candidate combines technical writing excellence with hands on familiarity with APIs, SDKs, and developer platforms, and a solid understanding of how issuers, cards, and accounts operate within digital wallet and tokenization flows.
In this role, you will work closely with product managers, service owners, engineers, and cross functional teams to document MDES capabilities—from high level business value for issuers and partners to detailed technical guidance for developers and integrators.
Role
In this role, you will:
• Develop clear, accurate, and comprehensive API and SDK documentation that meets Mastercard quality and compliance standards.
• Create developer friendly content that simplifies complex digital payment concepts, wallet flows, and tokenization processes.
• Document digital wallet journeys, including card provisioning, token lifecycle, authentication, and issuer integration models.
• Develop and maintain customer facing implementation guides, capturing evolving MDES capabilities and publishing updates aligned with regular release cycles.
• Translate technical specifications, APIs, SDKs, and platform behaviors into clear, actionable guidance for issuer and partner audiences.
• Build a deep understanding of MDES products, digital wallet platforms, issuer systems, card and account constructs, and related payment flows.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure documentation accurately reflects real world implementation and operational considerations.
• Create internal documentation, slide decks, and wiki pages to increase internal understanding of MDES platforms, services, and integrations.
• Ensure all documentation is delivered with high quality, consistency, and timeliness, aligned to established style guides.
• Work effectively with globally distributed stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather inputs, drive reviews, and determine the best presentation of content.
• Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing documentation, independently synthesizing inputs from technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to identify the need for graphics, diagrams, and process flows to improve clarity and enhance content comprehension.
