Vice President, Sales (Consulting and Analytics Platforms) Overview:

The professional services arm of Mastercard Worldwide, provides payments-focused consulting, marketing, information and risk management services to financial institutions and merchants worldwide. With its unique category expertise, deep understanding of customer needs and successful track record in addressing complex challenges throughout the payments lifecycle, Mastercard Advisors addresses the challenges and opportunities of its clients, enhances Mastercard's strategic and tactical performance and establishes Mastercard's global thought-leadership pre-eminence.

Overview and Role:
• Lead Advisors data & analytics sales for Financial Institutions as well as Retail & Commerce; responsible for existing business and hunting for new opportunities across all Advisors product/service lines within the South-Eastern Europe division (incl. Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Israel and Croatia)
• Deliver against Data & Analytics revenue targets (both in-year and total contract value)
• Manage and expand relationships with senior, executive-level and analytics-focused client stakeholders, developing trust to enable intimate discussions on client goals and needs; surfacing Advisors revenue opportunities
• Translate client challenges into hypotheses and structure large/complex data-driven engagements; leverage deep knowledge of all the Mastercard Advisors capabilities to structure innovative solutions and strategic bundles driven by analytics
• Lead internal partners to develop formal and informal pitch materials focused on big data, analytics and AI; ensuring succinct, persuasive content tailored to audience & seniority
• Deliver compelling, high-impact pitches, showcasing leadership, expertise and understanding of / alignment to client needs
• Adapt data & analytics products to local circumstances, contribute to new product development
• Review and improve project deliverables; quickly identifying gaps and opportunities to increase value to client
• Drive intel back into Advisors & broader Mastercard; supporting the feedback loop that drives internal product innovation
• Contribute as a thought leader to the development of intellectual capital, point of views, articles, and blogs in the analytics space

All About You:
• Undergraduate degree required; MBA or relevant post graduate degree preferred
• Proven track record in managing sales pipeline; identifying and advancing sales opportunities and exceeding targets
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence stakeholders (internal & client) in large/complex environments
• Best-in-class narrative-development and storytelling; experience in developing compelling sales narratives and pitch materials for complex client business challenges
• Leadership presence & best-in-class pitch/presentation skills; establishing credibility and influencing senior audiences
• Excellent analytical skills, including financial analysis for business casing, value quantification & pricing
• Demonstrated creativity, problem-solving and empathy (ability to think from the perspective of the customer)
• Disciplined and process-oriented; proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Extensive experience in management consulting firm and/or commercial data & analytics functions
• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
