Overview
Sustainability and Innovations Program aims to develop Mastercard sustainability solutions and innovative products for Consumer solutions. S&I program team is looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented individuals to help build high quality innovative solutions for a new product enabling Mastercard Multi-rail strategy.

Overview
• Works across teams to organize and accelerate delivery, ensuring all teams are delivering in a coordinated manner
• Tracks and manages manifest definitions, release integration, timing, scope and delivery
• Provides ongoing updates (with data) on the state of delivery
• Proactively manages all dependencies, ensuring all outputs are production ready at launch

Responsibilities
• Plan, execute, and deliver projects from inception to completion related to a known technology, product, or program. Describes and maintains the integrated plan that accounts for internal/external dependencies, differing delivery approaches, numerous constraints, and contingency for unplanned delays
• Secures resources, scopes efforts, outlines priorities and establishes delivery milestones
• Proactively manage the end-to-end delivery of engineering work through the organization and all dependent organizations, reporting out progress, ensuring dependencies are covered, overseeing the gaps between teams, processes, and systems, while removing all blocking issues leading to a successful delivery. Accelerates progress by driving crisp, timely decisions
• Looked to as first point of contact for projects. Can communicate with confidence levels up. Is the source of truth for status. Transforms raw thoughts into clear and concise communications. Provides right information and associated data about the state of the project to the right audience at the right time. Runs effective meetings
• Has experience in and understands industry technologies. Understands their program, product, or Technology domain. Sufficient depth/credibility to be effective with teams they work with. Can competently represent team's services to stakeholders and other teams. May need to bring developers or SMEs to meetings to talk details
• Program strategy defined. Delivers independently but will occasionally seek direction from peers/managers
• Nurtures good working relationships with engineers, managers, and peers
• Optimizes previously defined approaches for a team or limited area. Can demonstrate improvements using data. Utilizes department mechanisms (i.e. retrospectives, staff meetings, status meetings) to describe and drive continuous improvements

Job Specific Experiences
• Take the time to fully learn the functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties of the systems involved with your projects. This includes the business requirements and associated use cases, Mastercard customer's experience, Mastercard's back office systems, the technical stack (application/service architecture), interfaces and associated data flows, dependent applications/services, runtime operations (i.e. trouble management/associated support strategies), and maintenance.
• Understand your team's technologies and are able to evaluate system designs and architecture as you participate in solution discussions
• Recognize discordant views and take part in constructive dialog to resolve them
• Verbal and written communication is clear and concise
• Improve team processes that accelerate delivery, drive innovation, lower costs, and improve quality
• Proficient with scrum delivery
• Anticipate bottlenecks and adequately factor in contingency for unplanned delays
• Determine if success metrics are in place and if not, you work to define them
• Continuously assess development processes, test plans, and operations. You work with teams to improve concurrent project delivery.
• Streamline and/or eliminate excess process in any area of the architecture, production operations environment, or business area where the same efforts (or issues) are repeated year-over-year

Must Haves.
• Planning: Has skills to collaborate with team and business stakeholders to estimate requirements (e.g., story pointing) and prioritize based on business value; understands work classification to determine software capitalization opportunities
• Has skills to elaborate and estimate non-functional requirements, including security (e.g., data protection, authentication, authorization), regulatory, and performance (SLAs, throughput, transactions per second)Practices and Metrics
• Has skills to understand, report, and optimize delivery metrics to continuously improve upon them (e.g., velocity, throughput, lead time, defect leakage, burndown)
• Has the ability to document and drive definition-of-done for requirements to meet both business and operational needs; understands the cost of defects and implements a well-defined defect life cycle to minimize defect leakage and improve customer and operational experience
• Has skills to conduct product demos and co-ordinate with product owners to drive product acceptance signoffs
• Project/Program Planning: Plans, tracks and communicates more complex projects with various work-streams for consolidated efforts in execution
• Project/Program Execution & Implementation: Implements projects effectively and in a timely fashion by applying basic knowledge of scheduling and monitoring techniques
• Project Risk Analysis: Takes initiative in identifying areas open to improvements and takes necessary steps with an understanding of the accompanying impacts, dependencies and risks
• Technical Documentation: Able to create and incorporate documentation explaining complex business problems. Applies documentation procedures for others to follow technical processes for consistency.
