The Manager, Workplace Experience Optimization supports the execution of Mastercard's Workplace Experience strategy by driving data-informed programs that enhance employee experience, optimize space utilization, and enable hybrid work effectiveness. Reporting to the Vice President of Workplace Experience Optimization, this role plays a critical operational and analytical role in executing Mastercard's enterprise location strategy, hybrid work policy, and WX programs.
This position partners closely with Regional Workplace Experience teams, People & Capability, Real Estate, and business stakeholders to ensure WX programs are scalable, consistent, and aligned with P&C strategy. The Manager translates strategy into practical tools, processes, and insights that support seamless workplace experiences across our people, spaces, and tools.
Scope & Impact
• Execute key components of the Workplace Experience Optimization roadmap, including developing and tracking organization KPIs.
• Lead data analysis and reporting efforts that inform space planning, utilization, and hybrid work policy adherence.
• Create and drive repeatable frameworks for programs and projects.
• Support governance, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a key operational partner to regional teams, ensuring alignment across the Workplace Experience team.
• Partner cross-functionally with others in P&C, Real Estate, Technology and Business partners to drive WX experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Program Execution
• Support implementation of enterprise Location Strategy and Hybrid Work experiences.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and implementation resources for workplace programs.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful rollout of workplace experience initiatives.
• Track milestones, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent projects.
Data & Reporting
• Analyze workplace utilization, occupancy, headcount, and employee sentiment data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop dashboards and recurring reporting to monitor workplace performance metrics.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making related to talent analyses by location
Hybrid Work & Policy Enablement
• Support operationalization of the Hybrid Policy through process mapping, FAQs, and communication materials.
• Monitor policy adherence and identify areas for refinement or additional support.
• Partner with P&C and Regional Leads to ensure consistent employee and people leader experience.
Regional & Cross-Functional Partnership
• Serve as a point of contact for regional teams on workplace optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, TECH, Facilities, and P&C partners to align operational processes.
Continuous Improvement
• Gather feedback from employees, managers, and regional teams to inform enhancements.
• Identify opportunities and recommend improvements to increase scalability and impact.
• Document best practices and standard operating procedures for workplace programs.
Qualifications
