Manager, Sustainability Solutions-1 Who is Mastercard?
Mastercard is a global technology company in the payments industry. We connect consumers, financial institutions, merchants, governments, digital partners, businesses and other organizations worldwide by enabling electronic payments and making those payment transactions safe, simple, smart and accessible.
Our company's aspiration is to power economies and empower people, building a sustainable economy where everyone prospers. Every day, our dedicated teams around the world are focused on addressing real needs and building toward this goal. Our network, services and partnerships drive our commitment of doing well by doing good. We know that we can only prosper when the world prospers. That comes when growth is sustainable and inclusive and when prosperity is shared.

Overview
Increasingly, companies and consumers are taking action against the impacts of climate change. At Mastercard, we have an opportunity to leverage our technology to make it simple and convenient for them to do so.
Through existing and emerging products, we can inform consumers about the carbon footprint of their purchases to make mindful spending choices. The Carbon Calculator (CC), powered by Doconomy's Aland Index, offers consumers such a way to approach environmentally friendly spending by supplying them with actionable climate information and support. Our capabilities also support the successful progress of our flagship forest reforestation program - the Priceless Planet Coalition (PPC) – towards its 100M tree goal.
We continue to enhance and scale our Sustainability Solutions assets, identifying and developing differentiating features to maintain our competitive advantage.
