Manager, Sourcing & Supplier Management Sourcing Manager, Technology, - Automation, Data & Insights

Overview:
The Sourcing Manager, Technology – Automation, Data & Insights drives the advancement of data-driven Sourcing practices across Technology Sourcing. This role leverages quantitative analysis, market intelligence, and supplier insights to inform strategic decisions, improve sourcing outcomes, and support long term competitive advantage sourcing practices across Technology Sourcing.

Serving as a central point of coordination for Technology Sourcing analytics, process standardization, deal pipeline visibility, and supplier data, the role enables consistent decision-making, strong data quality, and scalable sourcing operations. The role partners closely across Global Supply Chain and with Finance, Technology, and other cross functional stakeholders to support strategic initiatives, governance forums, and enterprise reporting requirements by strengthening data-driven decision-making, upholding robust data quality standards, and enabling scalable, actionable Technology Sourcing operations.

Role:
Analyze Coupa and other internal/external data sources to identify sourcing opportunities, trends, risks, and improvement areas that inform Technology Sourcing decisions.
Integrate analytics and insights into Technology Sourcing workflows by partnering closely with the team to embed data‑driven decision‑making into day‑to‑day processes.
Own and manage the Technology Sourcing deal pipeline and Contract Resource Center, aligning with your Director to drive user adoption, data accuracy, and reliable reporting.
Establish and oversee data quality standards across the Technology Sourcing organization, identifying opportunities for system enhancements, automation, and efficiency improvements.
Develop, refine, and maintain standardized supplier profiles and deal summaries for key Technology suppliers to enable consistent documentation and reusable insights.
Integrate relevant internal and external data sources to enhance supplier profiling, deal analysis, and broader Sourcing insights.
Lead process standardization and SOP development for repeatable Technology Sourcing activities, documenting core workflows in a scalable and sustainable format.
Conduct data‑driven assessments of Technology Sourcing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve operational effectiveness.
Partner with Technology Sourcing and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure processes are consistently applied, well documented, and aligned with business needs.
Monitor and drive effective utilization of Market Intelligence providers to maximize value realization.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Technology Sourcing data, insights, and reporting for Technology Finance and other internal stakeholders, supporting key enterprise initiatives.
Support governance, reporting, and executive forums by managing Deal Review Board cadence, maintaining key tracking artifacts, and aligning with your director on escalations, guidance, and regulatory, audit, ESG, and payment‑related requirements.


All About You:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in data analytics, data management, or a related role preferred.
Knowledge of supply chain or procurement concepts and related best practices, or relevant experience in a comparable field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large, diverse datasets to generate insights and support decision-making.
Experience improving data quality, documenting processes, and working across multiple systems in a cross-functional environment.
Familiarity with data governance, data management, and analytics tools; experience with procurement platforms is a plus.
Awareness of emerging technologies, including AI and automation, and an ability to identify practical opportunities to apply them within Sourcing workflows.
Ability to learn new methodologies and technologies and apply them to evolving business needs.
Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Pay Ranges

O'Fallon, Missouri: $109,000 - $180,000 USD
