This newly created position is part of the Global Regulatory Compliance team and will play a key role in leading the implementation of the Global Regulatory Control Assurance (RCA) Program.

The Role
At Mastercard we are committed to the highest standards of ethics and integrity. Ethics and Compliance are at the core of our company values and are essential to both the personal success of every Mastercard employee and to the success of the company.
The Manager, Regulatory Control Assurance, will play a key role in strengthening Mastercard's regulatory compliance by executing design adequacy and operating effectiveness testing of regulatory controls across regions and business lines. This role offers the opportunity to apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills while performing high quality, consistent, and well documented testing aligned with established procedures, including standardized test scripts, risk-based planning, walkthroughs, and remediation tracking
Beyond its critical role in advancing Mastercard's regulatory compliance, this position offers a rare vantage point into the full breadth of Mastercard's business — providing the opportunity to work across regions, functions, and technologies, gain enterprise-wide insights, and accelerate growth of the compliance culture at Mastercard.

Key Accountabilities of the Role:
• Execute end to end regulatory control testing, assessing both design adequacy and operating effectiveness of controls across regions and business lines, in alignment with RCA procedures, test script templates, walkthrough protocols, and remediation standards.
• Document all testing activities clearly and consistently, ensuring workpapers, evidence, and testing results meet audit ready expectations and are accurately maintained within Mastercard's Global Risk and Compliance platform.
• Conduct walkthroughs with Control Performers, gather required documentation, validate control execution, and identify gaps, weaknesses, or inconsistencies that require remediation.
• Support the development of corrective action plans, working with Control Performers to validate timely and effective remediation of identified deficiencies.
• Promote standardization and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to refine testing approaches, templates, methodologies, and underlying processes.
• Collaborate cross functionally with teams in finance, technology, legal, risk management, and operational teams.

All About You
• Experienced in regulatory compliance, risk management, or internal controls, with demonstrated ability to assess the design and execution of control environments.
• Demonstrated ability to execute risk-based testing methodologies, including scoping, sampling, determining sample sizes based on frequency, and applying sound conclusion logic.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to break down complex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical testing steps and clear conclusions.
• Detail oriented and disciplined, with a commitment to consistent documentation, evidence quality, and adherence to standardized testing procedures and templates.
• A proactive and structured communicator, comfortable engaging with Control Performers cross functional partners, and stakeholders to gather information, clarify expectations, and resolve open issues.
• A self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment, capable of managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving regulatory or operational demands.
• Collaborative and enterprise minded, able to build strong partnerships across regions and functions to support a globally consistent compliance posture.
• Committed to continuous improvement, with the curiosity and initiative to identify enhancements to testing processes, templates, and tools.
• Ability to successfully navigate a multi-national organization and operating effectively within a diverse multicultural organization.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
