Title and Summary

Manager, Finance Business Partner Overview

We are seeking an analytically strong and technically curious Manager, Finance Business Partner to support technology investment decisioning across Mastercard. This role focuses on advanced financial analytics, scalable modeling, automation, and data-driven insights to improve the quality, speed, and transparency of technology investment decisions.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial fundamentals with hands-on analytics skills. They are comfortable working with large datasets, building repeatable models, and partnering with technology and finance teams to translate complex inputs into clear financiais insights. This role is well suited for a finance professional with a strong quantitative mindset who wants to deepen expertise in analytics-driven decision support within a global technology environment.

Role
• Build and maintain scalable financial models and analytical tools to support technology investment evaluations.
• Perform scenario, sensitivity, and driver-based analysis to assess financial impacts of technology initiatives.
• Translate engineering, infrastructure, and capacity inputs into structured financial datasets and outputs.
• Support the development of standardized modeling engines and reusable analytical frameworks.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, and product teams to understand technical drivers and data sources.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Finance Business Partners, and Controllership to ensure consistency with forecasts, budgets, and actuals.
• Maintain strong model hygiene, documentation, and version control to support auditability and governance.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve modeling efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Support the rollout and adoption of analytics tools, dashboards, and data pipelines.
• Generate clear, concise insights and visualizations for Finance and Technology leadership.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to data quality, analytics standards, and tooling.

All About You
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience in financial analytics, FP&A, data-driven modeling, or technology finance.
• Strong Excel skills with demonstrated ability to build structured, scalable models.
• Hands-on experience with analytics or automation tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Python, SQL, Domo, Anaplan, or similar.
• Comfort working with large datasets and imperfect inputs.
• Ability to break down complex problems into logical, data-driven components.
• Strong attention to detail and process discipline.
• Experience working with cross-functional partners across Finance and Technology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
