Title and Summary
Manager, Account Management OverviewMastercard Ecuador is looking for a passionate sales driven executive that strongly believes in the opportunity that the payment industry brings to the Financial Sector. As an Account Manager you will help Mastercard grow our traditional business while driving and providing guidance on our partner's digital transformation efforts around payments and value solutions that will support healthy business growth while leveraging value and purpose in everything we do. You will be accountable for deploying a strategy to support and benefit our business partners, consumers, government, and communities. The role will support business development strategies, alignment in building a healthy and efficient payment ecosystem, and driving proposals supported by business cases and ROI. You will be accountable for deep understanding of your accounts, managing CxO relationships, identifying opportunities, leveraging Mastercard's technology and supporting deployment/execution with strong analytics as well as leveraging tools , services, and other Mastercard resources.
Role
• Provide exceptional customer experience to your assigned accounts, proactively drive the account strategy for Mastercard's products and solutions, and become your customer's trusted advisor.
• Define, land and execute a Digital Transformation roadmap with each of your accounts, focusing on business value and results.
• Leverage our consulting team and solutions to drive execution with strong customer ROI and market impact.
• Drive and manage the sales process with excellence: pipeline creation, acceleration, close and deployment in order to promote and build on upsell and cross sell opportunities within your accounts.
• Know the payments industry, it's players, products, technologies, trends, etc in order to identify business opportunities and deliver strong commercial execution, leveraging Mastercard´s products & services, our value proposition, competitive advantage, and aligning it to our business goals and required milestones.
• Execute assigned projects/initiatives focused on meeting annual targets by managing specific products lifecycle, being responsible for such product P&L performance (drivers and revenue lines), and optimizing product performance by negotiating and leading on a daily basis at Manager level within Products and Portfolio Management account teams.
• Execute successfully projects and initiatives through a strong relationship with the account and ensure alignment with all Mastercard internal areas, leading internal Mastercard teams (Products, Marketing, etc.), executing projects aligned with your bank´s strategy and financial requirements.
• Improve MasterCard acquisition, activation, usage and retention by leading all activities related to the account´s Mastercard assets, from complying with internal processes to designing and executing campaigns, leading marketing effort, and overall assets management process. Ensure successful execution of assets campaigns, aligned with the business strategy, through relating and negotiating with Account Managers (and MasterCard teams (Products, Portfolio Management, Marketing, etc.).
• Generate and manage analysis, reports, presentations, etc. on account and market performance (GDV, accounts, average spend, etc. growth, trends, etc.) on all portfolios for internal and external purposes. Ensures account has a sustained opportunity pipeline, reflected in our internal CRM tool.
• Responsible for the account management/business development of the customers. Execute strategic/tactical plans to enhance customer and Mastercard profitability to deliver against account team targets for Mastercard products & services
• Responsible for the ongoing tracking of customer's performance at a business, portfolio, and product level. Analyze customer's business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis to direct a healthy sales strategies.

• Problem-solving, research and strong analytical skills (excel/macro tables expertise)
• Demonstrated IT literacy to work with tools, databases and applications
• Knowledge of CRM tools and strong pipeline management
• Can build business cases that clearly explain the ROI
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or similar OR equivalent experience
• Dynamic, energetic, team performer
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work in small office environment
