Lead Software Engineer Overview
Prepaid Management Services is the division of mastercard that concentrates on Prepaid Solutions such as our Multi-Currency Cash Passport product. Traditionally focused on the Travel sector this business unit is driving forward Prepaid throughout the world with innovative and leading solutions that we integrate with Global brands. This role is within the Global Technology Services (GTS) team which is part of the wider mastercard Operations & Technologies group. We provide high quality evolutionary and operational capabilities to support the mastercard Prepaid Management Services business.

Role-Implement MPMS QA strategy and governance frameworks, aligning with standards for integration hygiene and defect logging.
Define scope for functional, regression, integration testing across environments.
Manage Core QA and coordinated with vendor teams to ensure readiness for production sign-off.
Drive execution on Stage with minimal higher environment validation
Champion defect logging standards and enforce quality gates to reduce leakage
Maintain and Add to automation frameworks and CI/CD integration for MPMS releases.
Ensure compliance with security and accessibility testing
Partner with Product, BizOps, and FIS teams for processor migration validation and certification.
Coordinate with system teams for environment management and performance testing.
Mentor QA engineers and SDETs; foster a culture of ownership and continuous learning.


All about you-Skills:

Experienced QA/Software Testing with technical leadership; proven track record in payment domain testing and multiple technical stack projects.

Good visibility to API and cross application integration
Test Strategy, Estimation and SAFE understanding
Automation, CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker/Kubernetes
Understanding of Performance & Non-Functional Testing
Defect Management & Quality Metrics
