Title and Summary

Lead Program Manager, Services Technology Overview:
Mastercard's Services Technology team is seeking a Lead Program Manager to support the EVP of Data & Analytics in driving operational efficiency, aligning priorities, and enabling data-driven decision-making. This team is responsible for managing the Services engineering and technology estate, including data infrastructure, analytical tools, critical technology platforms such as the Data Warehouse and Decision Management Platform, as well as acquired Services technology assets and the engineering teams supporting four product groups.

Role:
• Collaborate with the EVP of Data & Analytics and their Leadership Team to execute Services Technology strategic priorities.
• Lead large-scale initiatives or mid-sized projects, proactively clarifying scope, deliverables, and timelines, embracing ambiguity to ensure clarity.
• Drive cross-functional projects, ensuring timely and successful execution of key objectives.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships across Services Technology leadership teams.
• Represent Mastercard in a positive, professional manner, demonstrating Mastercard Way behaviors in all interactions with strategic clients, partners, and vendors.
• Coordinate the implementation of employee engagement initiatives with executive leadership.
• Identify, manage, and resolve dependencies and risks across various functional teams, ensuring clear and timely communication and status reporting to key stakeholders.

All About You:
• A background in Technical Project Management, Program Management, Account Management, Product Development, or related fields.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex initiatives, with the support of peers and leaders when needed.
• Experience with software development lifecycle models, and a solid understanding of Agile and traditional project management practices. Ability to blend these approaches to fit project and business needs.
• Strong track record of using data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement methodologies across teams.
• Ability to adapt between detailed technical discussions and high-level overviews based on the audience.
• Experience building strong organizational relationships and influencing executive leadership while earning respect from cross-functional colleagues.
• Expertise in managing large-scale clients and establishing trust-based professional relationships.
• Skilled in managing challenging personalities, diffusing conflicts, and ensuring healthy, productive project team dynamics.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing competing priorities and multitasking in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to influence with authority, proactively addressing issues and providing effective solutions.
• Trusted partner who can manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Flexible, creative, and adaptable to thrive in a constantly changing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
• Preference for candidates with prior experience at a leading management consulting firm, and a demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. Pay Ranges

Arlington, Virginia: $115,000 - $184,000 USD
