Overview
The Fraud Reporting & Insights team develops new products for Mastercard's fraud prevention platform. We protect cardholders / card issuers and aim to eradicate credit card fraud. Our industry-leading bastion of defense processes billions of transactions per month with execution times literally 10X faster than you can blink. The Technical Product Manager will play a critical role in enabling the engineering team to new product functionality within this platform including world-class backend and consumer-facing features.
Role
Provide ongoing technical expertise and support throughout the development lifecycle of MasterCard products and related applications. Responsibilities may cover core and/or non-core products and span various stages of the project cycle. The role involves close collaboration with Business Analysis and technology teams to ensure alignment of business and functional requirements with MasterCard Technologies. A strong working knowledge of MasterCard applications and systems is required.
All about you
• Deep understanding of various Cloud technology platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, etc. around storage & compute.
• Provide technical analysis of product or application hardware and software to ensure business and functional requirements are met.
• Offer technical support to Business Owners during implementation of new products/services.
• Expert at using widely available AI tools to improve work efficiency.
• Serve as subject matter expert during support escalations.
• Lead development of conceptual designs and screen mock-ups.
• Engage with TCOE staff for testing activities. Prioritize and identify cross-application/system enhancements.
• Assess development impacts on current processing and coordinate with programmers and users to ensure accuracy of enhancements.
• Develop and execute complex test plans.
• Analyze system requirements and collaborate with developers.
• Create design considerations for front-end changes.
• Lead review sessions of technical requirements.
• Manage the defect resolution process.
• Coordinate offshore testing.
• Collaborate with development teams on software designs.
• Facilitate JAD sessions.
• Document and coordinate audit controls and PCI requirements.
• Define and implement tagging measurement strategies to enable MasterCard to measure the success of its digital initiatives.
• Partner with business and development teams to define needs, plan enhancements, and optimize web properties for SEO.
• Act as liaison between business and technical teams across areas such as data quality, merchant analysis, help desk support, compliance/government regulations, audits/controls, and report design/creation.
Education
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience.
