Title and Summary

Lead Information Security Engineer Mastercard is seeking a Lead Information Security Engineer to drive the technical integration of our broad technology portfolio into a modern IAM tech stack. We are looking for an experienced security and identity professional who is passionate about enhancing the customer experience journey, highly motivated, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Bolster Mastercard's Identity & Access security posture throughout the organization by bringing locally managed systems under centralized management utilizing our modern Identity Governance and Administration system (Saviynt).
• Evaluate identity & access requirements, architect future state IAM operations and deploy solutions throughout the organization by leveraging features across Saviynt, EntraID, and other IAM / PAM tooling to improve security and the user experience of authentication and authorization for cloud and on-premises resources.
• Key technical SME in efforts of transitioning centralized access management from legacy on-premise IGA platform to modern cloud IGA tooling.
• Serve as a technical SME within the IAM space. Mentor, train and encourage growth of junior engineers.
• Create and maintain documentation on how to securely integrate systems into a modern IAM tech stack.
• Drive the technical implementation of Identity & Access tooling (IGA, PAM).
• Be responsible for understanding security policies, industry best practices, and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate for this position should have:

• Advanced knowledge and experience with Identity Governance & Administration solutions (Saviynt / SailPoint)
•Advanced skills in Azure Active Directory or another IDP.
•Advanced knowledge of authentication methodologies (such as Single Sign On) and protocols, to include SAML, OAUTH 2.0, multifactor authentication methods, and conditional access policies.
•Advanced understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms for applications and their use of secrets.
•The ability to develop strategic approaches for complex identity initiatives, prioritizing various work streams and customer needs.
•Experience in large scale Identity and Access Management implementations.
•Information Security experience including risk identification with options and compensating controls to remediate.
•Experience evaluating, improving and managing Identity and Access Management processes for the cloud by leveraging process metrics and customer feedback.
•Experience in auditing security controls, governance, and softer communication skills.
•Advanced understanding of security concepts and their application. This can be evidenced through certifications such as Security+ and CISSP
