Title and Summary

Lead Business Analyst Overview
The Mastercard Billing Services (MCBS) team is seeking a Lead Business Analyst with deep SAP expertise to drive the successful implementation and ongoing optimization of Mastercard's new Order Management (OM) platform. This role will partner closely with technology, product, billing, and finance teams to ensure seamless integration between OM and MCBS, enabling accurate pricing, rates management, and revenue capture.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, customer focused, and intellectually curious—driving operational excellence and leveraging a problem solving mindset similar to Mastercard Lead BA roles that emphasize control assurance, risk mitigation, and cross functional influence.

Role (Key Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
• Lead end to end business analysis for the OM platform, with emphasis on SAP integration, data flows, and process optimization.
• Drive and document integration requirements with MCBS, ensuring correct design, testing, and implementation of the required billing and pricing flows.
• Oversee the secure and accurate sharing of pricing and rate data to/from OM, ensuring data integrity and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Define and validate the billing feed from OM to MCBS, ensuring correct invoicing, revenue recognition alignment, and compliance with Mastercard billing policies.
• Apply deep understanding of platforms and applications to analyze processes, recommend improvements, and support strong internal control environments—consistent with Mastercard Lead BA expectations.
• Collaborate cross functionally with Technology, Product, Finance, and Billing Operations to solve problems, remediate issues, and influence successful delivery outcomes.
• Develop user stories, business requirements, acceptance criteria, and process documentation; support test planning and UAT execution.
• Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring shared understanding and clarity on requirements and solution impacts.
• Support change management, system readiness, training, and adoption activities for impacted teams.

All About You (Qualifications & Competencies)
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• Advanced expertise in SAP (SD, Pricing, Order to Cash, or relevant modules), including configuration impacts and integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of order management, billing, and revenue processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into system ready specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex platforms and recommend improvements—aligned with Mastercard's expectations for Lead Business Analysts to evaluate controls, platforms, and applications.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and clearly articulating functional and technical concepts.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving abilities, and an operational excellence mindset.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, organize workstreams, and guide cross functional teams through ambiguity.
Desirable / Additional Capabilities
• Experience with MCBS or other enterprise billing systems.
• Familiarity with data mapping, API integrations, and system architecture fundamentals.
• Experience with large-scale transformation or enterprise integration projects.
• Comfort supporting testing, QA processes, and validation of financial or billing data flows. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Pay Ranges

O'Fallon, Missouri: $122,000 - $207,000 USD
