Overview:
The Executive Assistant will serve as a critical partner to the Division President, Mastercard Canada, providing comprehensive administrative and strategic support to ensure the efficient operation of the executive office. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, sound judgment, the ability to anticipate needs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and experience managing complex priorities. This role includes general administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, and expense reporting, among other core responsibilities.
Role:
• Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics for internal and external engagements
• Organize and oversee travel arrangements, expense reporting, and budget tracking for executive-related activities
• Ensure all meeting and technology support is appropriately coordinated for meetings and events
• Act as a trusted liaison between the Division President and senior stakeholders, including valued external partners, ensuring timely and professional communication
• Track deliverables and ensure deadlines are met for key projects and priorities
• Coordinate and support operational efficiency across Office of the President
All About You:
• Executive administrative experience in a global corporate environment interfacing with senior and executive level management
• Keen sense of urgency with a results-driven orientation and proactive mindset
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to influence and persuade, to work collaboratively across functions, and to interact effectively with stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate executive needs
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams) and collaboration tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure and maintain grace in fast-paced environments
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience: 5+ years supporting C-level or senior executives in a corporate environment
• Skills:
o Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.
o Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
