Title and Summary

Director of Stakeholder Engagement - Services Technology Overview
The Services Technology team is seeking a strategic, expert communicator to join as a Director of Stakeholder Engagement. This role is critical to bridging the gap between technical engineering teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that complex technical concepts are translated into compelling, data-driven narratives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in technical storytelling and stakeholder engagement and will play a key role in helping Services Technology demonstrate its impact and value across the organization. This role reports directly to the Services Technology Chief of Staff.
In addition to expert communication skills, this role requires a thoughtful approach to stakeholder engagement—developing and executing strategies to inform, align, and inspire internal and external audiences. The role will foster relationships across business units, ensure consistent messaging, and serve as a trusted voice for Services Technology initiatives.
The Services Technology team at Mastercard is responsible for the Services engineering and technology estate, including data infrastructure, analytical tools, critical technology platforms such as the Data Warehouse and Decision Management Platform, our acquired Services technology assets, and the engineering teams supporting each of our four Services product groups.

Role
Strategic Storytelling & Communication

Design Enablement & User-Centered Thinking

• Support operational excellence by coordinating updates for QBRs, Town Halls, and other key activities.
Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
• Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies that identify key audiences, understand their needs, and tailor messaging to drive alignment and support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including product, engineering, operations, and executive leadership teams. This role will also partner closely with the marketing and communications organizations across Services and Mastercard Technology.
• Track and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement strategies, using feedback and analytics to continuously improve communication and alignment.
