Title and Summary

Director, Financial Planning & Analysis Overview:
The Director, FP&A – Services will serve as a key finance leader supporting the Services organization, providing strategic financial insight and business partnership across programs. Reporting to the VP, FP&A – Services, the role is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, performance reporting, and assessing the financial impact of strategic and market development initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong FP&A experience, advanced analytical capabilities, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights for management all while contributing to driving financial performance and supporting the growth of the Services organization.
Role:
• Manage all aspects of Services revenue and opex forecast/budget process with a goal of driving accuracy & transparency
• Manage KPIs and data analytics, partnering with Insights & Enablement
• Drive consistent focus on accelerating revenue and driving more prudent & efficient expense prioritization by focusing on both internal and external (macro) factors
• Challenge the status quo; re-imagine the current forecast/budget process to drive effective controls, simplicity & efficiency, accuracy, etc. Ensure proper engagement with business & finance business partners
• Develop analysis to challenge business assumptions, where necessary
• Support in preparation of senior management presentations such as Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), Quarterly Operating Reviews (QOR), monthly performance & forecast reviews and other ad-hoc presentations
• Key liaison between Services and corporate finance; bring thought leadership to the broader FP&A community while building partnerships and understanding of Services business / strategy
• Participate in global projects when needed and assist in enhancing finance infrastructure
All About You:
• Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills; able to build and articulate the story in a clear and concise way
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Be structured and well organized, be able to establish priorities and work efficiently under pressure and with tight deadlines
• Proactive with the ability to identify issues before they develop into problems; proactively resolving issues directly or through escalation to appropriate partners
• Be a team player, analytical, results driven, flexible and adaptable
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel: pivots, lookups, index, sumif), Oracle, Hyperion

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
