Title and Summary
Director, Benefits Delivery Overview:The People Operations & Insights team is seeking a strategic and operationally focused Director, Benefits Delivery (M&A). Based in Bogota, Colombia, you will be the primary architect of the benefits integration experience for Mastercard's global acquisitions.
In this specialized role, you will ensure that employees from acquired entities transition seamlessly into Mastercard's benefits ecosystem, reinforcing our values from Day 1. Reporting to the Vice President, Benefits Delivery, you will lead the end-to-end operational assimilation of new populations, managing complex vendor landscapes and internal stakeholder partnerships to ensure operational and experiential excellence.
In this Bogota-based M&A role, you will
As the lead for M&A Benefits Delivery, you will:
• Direct the operational roadmap for integrating acquired companies into Mastercard's global benefits suite, including group health, retirement, life insurance, and leave programs.
• Partner with Benefits Design to translate strategic acquisition goals into operational reality, ensuring new employees transition to Mastercard plans without coverage gaps.
• Manage the lifecycle of new providers inherited through acquisitions, including performance monitoring, risk management, and contract negotiation in collaboration with Sourcing and Legal.
• Oversee the transition of employee data into Workday, ensuring technical enhancements and process mapping are completed for every deal.
• Act as the key liaison between the GBSC (Global Business Solutions Center), Payroll, Finance, and People Business Partners to resolve escalation issues unique to newly acquired populations.
• Oversee the creation of content specifically tailored to help acquired employees navigate their new rewards package.
• Assess legacy processes of acquired companies to identify opportunities for outsourcing or transitioning work to reduce operational risk.
All About You
• At least 10+ years in benefits administration with a specific focus on mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale corporate integrations within multinational organizations.
• Exceptional at establishing trust and credibility quickly with newly acquired leadership teams and external stakeholders.
• Highly self-directed with a "builder" mindset; you thrive in the fast-paced, often ambiguous environment of a growing company.
• Strong command of HRIS systems, specifically Workday and advanced Excel skills for data mapping and analysis.
• Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate complex benefit changes with empathy and clarity.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
