The Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics business provides leading naval computing infrastructure, network and data distribution and middleware enterprise services, as well as world-class manufacturing and support capabilities.

This new opportunity is based onsite at the Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics' Display, Processing, and Networking Center of Excellence located in Johnstown, PA. 

The Traffic Coordinator will conduct the physical movement of inbound and outbound shipments, including shipments to both domestic and international customers, and distribution centers and branches within the organization along with associated documentation as required. 

• Utilize economical and efficient traffic/transportation services for the organization and its customers
• Schedule and coordinate the routing of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Utilize rates, delivery terms, freight rates, and classifications with carriers as negotiated through corporate freight agreements
• Analyze carrier service performance
• Implement new freight procedures and methods to reduce costs
• Examine and approve payment of bills
• Resolve claims for loss or damage

• In this position you will regularly lift and carry objects of varying weights - up to 50 pounds

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of relatable experience
