DRS RADA Technologies, a leading defense company located in Beit She'an, specializing in the development and manufacturing of life-saving radar systems, is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance of facilities and mechanical equipment, including carts, jigs, fixtures, lifting devices, and material handling equipment.
  • Perform and oversee preventive maintenance and corrective (breakdown) maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical failures quickly and professionally.
  • Ensure the proper operation and availability of machines, facilities, and mechanical systems.
  • Work in accordance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement technical improvements to enhance equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency.
  • Document maintenance activities in computerized maintenance systems and open service requests in accordance with company procedures.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for equipment repairs, refurbishments, and installations.
  • Participate in technical projects, new equipment installations, and FAT/SAT activities as required.
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial and commercial HVAC systems.
  • Maintain and support utility systems and auxiliary equipment, including compressed air systems, nitrogen systems, water chillers, and circulation systems.
  • Work with external service providers and contractors in the fields of HVAC, cooling, and facility infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Practical Engineer (Mechanical Engineering) – an advantage.
  • Licensed Electrician – a significant advantage.
  • Experience with HVAC systems – a significant advantage.
  • Welding knowledge – an advantage.
  • Strong technical skills and a systems-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly drawings – an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical role within an industrial company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational information systems.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to lead tasks across multiple interfaces.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
