The Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business provides C4I Network computing and integrated situational awareness, as well as state-of-the-art embedded diagnostics, vehicle power management and combat vehicle integration products and services.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support all Field Service activities
  • Setup and support demonstrations. Support DRS equipment in operating environments at depots, training sites, and customer field operations with training, operation or repair
  • Ability to work independently and regular reporting of progress and status
  • Provide budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments
  • Communicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required
  • Participates in preparation of less complex proposals
  • May provide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and support personnel
  • Attend appropriate engineering, customer or business meetings
  • Mentor and coach less experienced engineers
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Qualifications
  • Provide technical support troubleshooting and repairs of the Bradley IBAS system and components as well as Legacy Bradley equipment such as Basic and ODS ISU's
  • Provide technical support troubleshooting and repairs of Ground TOW systems such as the M220 sight system and associated ground equipment such as batteries. MGS and night sight
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance
  • Willingness to relocate if required
  • Extensive travel requirements both within the US and abroad to include areas of conflict; up to and including War Torn Areas, in support of US Military Operations 
  • Competent technical expertise and application domain knowledge 
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 2 years of experience
